Flat optics for compact integration and high performance
Conference presentation
Tuesday, 31 January 2023
5.20 PM – 5.40 PM PST, Moscone Center, Room 205 (Level 2 South)
Ludovic Marigo, Technical Project Lead, NILT
We present a 5×3 projected pattern of thousands of dots with high transmission efficiency and uniformity. Thanks to our vertical integration, our products demonstrate extremely repeatable optical performance and are reliable for mass production, targeting high performance for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications.
NILT product demos at Photonics West
Booth 4221
At this year’s conference, NILT will showcase its full suite of revolutionary advanced optical elements at different stages of integration.
Demonstrations include single-surface and multi-surface Diffractive Optical Elements (DOEs), Meta Optical Elements (MOEs), and augmented reality (AR) waveguides.
Flat optics are ready to be designed for various applications, including mobile 3D sensing, face recognition, eye-tracking, NIR security imaging, automotive driver monitoring systems, and industrial machine vision.
We invite you to start a conversation with us about how DOEs, MOEs, and waveguides can help your applications.
Enabling the Metaverse through mass manufacturing of industry-standard optical waveguide combiners
Conference presentation
Monday, 30 January 2023
9:20 AM – 9:40 AM, Moscone Center, Room 3022 (Level 3 West)
Nanoimprinting of surface-relief grating-based waveguides has the potential to produce the most advanced AR glasses ever seen. In a close partnership with best-in-class companies, NILT is developing imprinted surface-relief grating waveguides that can be mass-produced by large-area nanoimprinting.
In this presentation, our friends at LightTrans International will present the developments showing a promising path toward mass manufacturing of surface-relief grating AR waveguides.
NILT is finalist in SPIE Prism Awards 2023
NILT is a finalist in the SPIE Prism Awards 2023 for the single-surface DOE fan-out with integrated collimation. The ceremony is on 1 February 2023 at Photonics West.
The unique fan-out optics eliminate the need for separate collimator optics in applications for 3D sensing, LiDAR, and machine vision applications and allow the replacement of up to four optical lenses/elements with a single DOE.
Read more about our unique fan-out optics here.
