Flat Optics Design Engineer

NIL Technology is growing, and we are looking for our new colleague to join our Optics team in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark.

We are expanding our Optics Team with a flat optics designer for development and design of diffractive optical elements (DOE), metalenses and other optical metasurfaces. The use of the flat optical elements includes lens modules, light shaping and projector systems in applications like optical sensors and imaging modules. The flat optics designer will be part of the optical element design at NILT and will also have close collaboration with module design, prototyping/processing, and characterization.

The work will mainly include design of flat DOE or meta based optical elements to optical requirements using existing tools and methodologies. Further, we expect you to be curious about the field, thus keeping an eye on of the literature and the general development in the field and to contribute to improving design and simulation methods.

You will be part of a company that offers a fast-moving and busy work environment, where all opinions are valued together. We have a strong team spirit and a profound “we win, and we lose together” attitude which we value and culture. Read more at www.nilt.com/join-us/
