EPIC Meeting on Wafer Level Optics

Nil Technology (NILT) is giving a talk at the next EPIC Meeting that focuses on Wafer Level Optics. The meeting will be held the 7th and 8th of November 2019, in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Theodor Nielsen, CEO and Founder of NILT, will be talking the first day of the event and the title of his talk is

Micro and nanostructured masters for replication of advanced optics

We hope to see friends and acquaintances at the event. If you would like to book a meeting with us at the event, you are welcome to contact us here.

About EPIC Meeting on Wafer Level Optics

European Photonics Industry Consortium is an industry association that promotes sustainable development of European organizations that are working in the field of photonics.

The purpose of this EPIC meeting is to put focus on benefits and motivation of migration towards wafer level manufacturing of optical diffractive, refractive or reflective components. The main purpose is to facilitate a discussion between technology providers, system integrators and users about applications in CMOS image sensors, automotive lighting, AR/VR headsets, medical, datacom, consumer electronics and other fields.

There will also be focus on manufacturing processes that include large area master fabrications that use step and repeat UV-NIL (ultra-violet nanoimprint lithography) systems, working stamp material and fabrication. Furthermore, focus will be on processes to evaluate quality of wafer level optics and lens stacking, according to lens-to-lens and wafer-to-wafer alignment accuracy, quantitative optical/surface measurements and lens shape fidelity, depending on each of the application fields.

The meeting is a two-day event, the 7th and 8th of November 2019, hosted at Suss MicroOptics, in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

We hope to see you at the meeting!
