Nanostructures find use within biotechnology in many different ways. Common to most of them is that nanostructures with advantage can be defined by nanoimprint lithography (NIL) or hot embossing serving as low cost manufacturing techniques.

NILT assists clients in their R&D of different biotech applications. Nanopatterned surfaces for cell growth experiments, surfaces with metal dot patterns defined by NIL for Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), polymer sheets with micro and nano posts for use as skins for reaction containers and shims for production of lab-on-a-chip products made by hot embossing and/or injecton molding.
