The Micro-needle Standard Stamp contains the inverse structure of micro-needles – i.e. micro-needle shaped holes. The micro-needle standard stamp can be used to produce micro-needles either by hot-embossing or casting.
A polymer copy of the micro-needle stamp can also be used in a Ni plating process to produce Ni inserts for injection molding tools to produce micro-needle devices by injection molding.
The micro-needles produced with the micro-needle standard stamp will be solid so they are suitable for use as skin conditioning needles, drug coated micro-needles or solid micro-needles with the drug incorporated in the needle material.
